Forget Steve and Alex -- Minecraft's new breakout hero is a pig named Reuben. The porcine wonder is just one of many standouts to be found in Telltale Games' narrative driven take on Mojang's unstoppably successful sandbox game.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is just how strong a story Telltale has woven around the vast and largely undefined world of Minecraft. The main game is a wilderness, by design something for each player to make what they want of, but not without its hints of lore. Its that minutiae that serves as the building blocks for what, after only one chapter, is already shaping up to be a hugely engaging adventure.
