The pace with which we are rushing towards Elon Musk's Hyperloop becoming a reality is appropriately swift given the intended eventual speed of the finished product.
The latest announcement from Hyperloop Transportation Technologies reveals that the core team working on the long-distance, tubular transport system now exceeds 400 professionals. Rather than being signed up employees of the company, the majority of contributors are volunteers who are working on the Hyperloop project in addition to their day jobs at organisations like Nasa, Airbus, SpaceX , Tesla and Boeing.
