Preview: 'Halo 5: Guardians' story campaign

Having played the previous instalments in the Halo series, but rarely having much time to devote to the online component or to committing the minutiae of the series' lore to memory as some hardcore aficionados, I am the Schrodinger's cat of Halo players -- simultaneously seasoned yet amateur. My experiences with any new entry collapse to a focal reality based on how much I remember from the last time I played.

Perhaps then, I'm missing something more nuanced when, after playing the opening sections  of Halo 5: Guardians' campaign, I find there isn't much that seems new, or noteworthy. It's the Halo you love, only more.... Halo-y.
