Nintendo has been talking for some time about better using its most recognisable characters outside of games. Most recently, that's involved announcing its first smartphone app and planning more merchandise. One thing we've yet to see though is Nintendo making an effort at movies.
Well, the gaming company still hasn't made any movement on that front, but that's never going to stop enterprising fans from taking their own stab at its greatest characters. Take Metroid: The Sky Calls for instance -- an 11-minute tease of the sci-fi action movie Nintendo really needs to make.
