A star has died. Not a burning ball of hydrogen in space but Twitter's favourite button, the company has replaced the button with the option to 'like' Tweets.
In a blog post announcing the changes the social media company said people could find the star "confusing" and replacing it with a heart, acting as a favourite is better as it "resonates across languages, cultures, and time zones."
