Surveillance bill will only ban 'strong' encryption

The government doesn't want to ban encryption for messages, but it does want stop companies using strong encryption that it can't get access to.

The Investigatory Powers Bill, which is due to be published Wednesday, won't stop companies protecting data and messages by encrypting them however they will have to be able to unlock them if asked to by the security agencies, reports have said.
